Terms of Service

1. Service Description

HIPPie, operated by BHware.Co, provides a photo and video originality service through the hippie.land website and the HIPPie mobile app. Creators use the app to make original records, and viewers use HIPPie links or the website to check whether a copy matches the original.

2. Beta Service

The Service is currently in beta. When the beta phase ends, this clause will be revised and the changes announced within the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the following.

• Feature changes — Features may be added, changed, or discontinued during the beta period.
• Availability — The Service may be interrupted or behave unexpectedly, and uninterrupted use is not guaranteed.
• Fees — Features currently offered free of charge may become paid after official launch. We will give prior notice of any such change.
• Reset — During the beta period, all data including accounts, proofs and posts may be reset to improve the service. If a reset becomes necessary we will announce it in the Service at least 30 days in advance, and during that window you can preserve your records by downloading a copy of your proofs. A downloaded copy remains yours after a reset.
• Data retention — We operate with the goal of preserving registered records; however, to the extent permitted by applicable law, the company is not liable for data loss occurring during the beta period. We recommend keeping separate copies of important records using the app's download feature.
• Limits as evidence — Regardless of beta status, HIPPie records are reference information and do not substitute for legal judgment or expert review.

3. Eligibility (Adults Only)

This service is for adults only. You must be at least 19 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if it is higher, to use this service. Minors may not use HIPPie under any circumstances, and registration with the consent of a legal guardian is not offered. By using HIPPie, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the photos, videos, captions, profile details, messages, and links you register or share through HIPPie.
• You must not use the service to register illegal, harmful, or infringing content.
• You must not attempt to circumvent security measures, rate limits, or anti-bot protections.
• You must not impersonate others, mislead viewers about a HIPPie badge, or create fraudulent original records.
• You must not post, send, or register content that harasses or endangers others, promotes hate or violence, sexually exploits anyone, sexualizes minors, or is otherwise unlawful — and you must not send spam. Content or accounts that break these rules can be reported in the app, and we review reports.

5. Verification Results

HIPPie results answer a narrow question: whether the checked copy matches a HIPPie original record. A "No HIPPie record" result does not mean the content is fake or unlawful. A "Copy changed" result means the checked copy does not match the original record HIPPie found.

6. HIPPie-Verified Badge

A creator can qualify for the HIPPie badge by using the HIPPie camera consistently, keeping accurate profile information, avoiding abuse, and following these terms. Gallery uploads and manual viewer checks do not create badge eligibility. HIPPie may remove or pause a badge if an account misleads viewers, violates rights, or harms service integrity.

7. Intellectual Property

Registering content through HIPPie does not transfer your ownership. You give HIPPie only the permissions needed to operate the service, display records you choose to make public, provide viewer checks, support sharing links, prevent abuse, and comply with law.

8. Payments and Refunds

Some features (such as exporting an original without the protective mark, or an original-ownership transfer) are paid. Purchases are processed through the Apple App Store using in-app purchase; the price is shown before you buy. Because exported files and transfers are digital content delivered immediately, your statutory right of withdrawal may be limited once delivery has begun, to the extent permitted by law and with your consent at purchase. 9. Limitation of Liability

HIPPie is provided "as is" to the fullest extent allowed by law. We do not promise that every copy can be checked, that every creator claim is complete, or that viewer checks replace legal, editorial, or professional review. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Service Modifications

We may update the service, badge rules, safety rules, or these terms. When changes materially affect your use, we will make reasonable efforts to give notice unless urgent security, abuse, legal, or operational reasons require faster action.

11. Termination

We enforce these rules with graduated action, proportionate to the violation and to whether it is repeated or severe: we may hide or remove an individual post, story, comment, or other content; limit features; pause a HIPPie-Verified badge; or suspend or permanently terminate an account. When we suspend an account we show the reason at sign-in, and you may appeal by contacting admin@hippie.land — we aim to respond within a reasonable time. You may delete your account and request data erasure at any time under our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes are subject to the courts of the Republic of Korea. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence (including the EU) continue to apply and are not affected by this clause.
